The Motivation

The idea came back when my mother passed away before the birth of my four sons. At that time I committed to ensure that my kids would know the great person my mom was and I started to create a book about her life.

The problem is when my mom died, a lot of information died with her. I did the best I could with pictures, stories and my version of her life but I wish that she had organized, diarized and shared some of her favorite moments, stories and accomplishments before she passed away.

I also realized that if I passed away, much of my life’s memories, work, passions and wisdom would be lost unless I took the time to diarize some of my life. You see it’s not that I think my mother or I are important to the world because most people have no clue who we are. However, we are important to some people like my wife, kids, family and friends.

I believe we all have a story to tell and as a result we all have a legacy worth sharing. I’ve learned so much in my life from other people; ordinary people with interesting stories, experiences and wisdom.
